- Policy 220: Instructional and Assignment Use of Artificial Intelligence
Pursuant to T.C.A. 49-8-203(a); T.C.A. 49-7-185, institutions must adopt a policy "regarding the use of artificial intelligence technology by students, faculty, and staff for instructional and assignment purposes," and then post on the institutional website, by July 1, 2025. Policy 220 outlines 麻豆果冻传媒's instructional and assignment use of artificial intelligence and includesrecommendations from the AT Task Force as well as refers to existing policies relevant to the use of AI. In addition, syllabus statements, revisions to the Academic Integrity policy, and CITL resources are in place already to assist faculty and students with AI use for instruction and assignments. Policy 220: Instructional and Assignment Use of Articifical Intelligence is Tennessee Tech's authoritative resource and takes precedence over any information provided on this website. - AI Academy
In April 2025, the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning launched the AI Academy. The AI Academy is an online asynchronous course designed for anyone looking to explore and build a foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence. You can learn more and register below.
- MInDS Center
In addition, during 2023, the College of Engineering's Computer Science Department, formally introduced their new MInDS Center. The Machine Intelligence and Data Science Center coordinates artificial intelligence and data science research and education efforts across 麻豆果冻传媒.

- 禄 Policy 216
Over the summer of 2023, a group was established to review Policy 217, the Academic Misconduct Policy, in order to add information regarding the role of generative AI in academic misconduct. You can view the revised policy in policy central.

To aid in navigating the news, articles, and increasing generative AI tools, as well as their impact and integration on campus, an AI Task force was established in summer 2023 to collect information and propose ideas for the integration of AI on campus.
The taskforce consisted of members from across campus with experience in AI or technology for the various disciplines. The group's findings, classroom recommendations, and reading list can be found on the CITL website, as well as tools for implementing AI into your classroom.
